Koduvally Muslim Orphanage is a Charitable Institution established during the year 1978. This Orphanage has been registered under Societies Registration Act of 1860 (Reg No. 17/78), and affiliated to the Board of Control for Orphanages and other Charitable Institutions, Govt. of Kerala. The main aim of this Orphanage is to protect the Orphan children [Both Boys & Girls] providing them food, clothing, Medical aid and Education.
While starting this institution there were only few inmates. There after number of inmates was increased. During the last 36 years we could look after thousands of orphans. The inmates who left this institution have gained better education and some of them are now working as Doctors, Engineers, Professors, Computer engineers, teachers etc. [Al-Hamdu-Lillah]..
This institution has received NATIONAL AWARD FOR CHILD WELFARE, Govt. of India during 1992.

K.M.O Higher Secondary School.
K.M.O English Medium High School (Kerala Syllabus).
K.M.O Teacher Training Institute recognized by NCTE and Govt: of Kerala.
K.M.O Industrial training Institute.
K.M.O Arts and Science College affiliated to the University of Calicut.
K.M.O B-Ed college recognized by NCTE and affiliated to the University of Calicut.

The Orphanage is running the following institutions
School study with boarding facilities for both Boys and Girls from K G to Secondary
level with Madrassa up to 10th standard.
After S.S.L.C / Plus 2, free study for graduation / post graduation, T T C / B-Ed
in K.M.O Institutions
. Free study for KGCE- Automobile, Civil Draughtsman, Plumbing, Wiring, Fashion
Designing Courses in K.M.O. I T I .
Interest free loan for higher studies in outside institutions.
Tool kit for those who complete wiring / plumbing courses and motorized sewing
machine for girls who complete S S L C.
Aid at the rate of Rs.1000/- per month for children up to their school age.
Financial aid for outgoing students on the basis of their total stay in the Orphanage
For running this institution we are raising fund from the local public in and around the locality by way of Donation, Box Collection etc. We are also getting grant from Govt. of Kerala.
For better functioning of the institution financial aid and help from all well wishers are solocited. |
